- Verify printer is powered on and connected
- Try Pull Drawer again (F3)
- Manually open drawer if emergency release available
- Contact IT support if drawer remains stuck
- Wait to pull cash until drawer is functioning
Problem: Forgot to Record Amount Pulled¶

- Specific amount pulled is not recorded (only the pull event)
- Reconciliation happens at close based on actual cash count
- No action needed -system tracks it automatically
Problem: Pulled Too Much Cash¶
Situation: Realized you removed more than needed
Solutions:
- You can put cash back in the drawer immediately
- Just open the drawer and add cash back
- No formal procedure needed for returns to drawer
- This is why Add Cash exists (see related documentation)
- Reconciliation at close will balance it out
Problem: Pulled Cash and Lost It¶
Situation: Cash pulled but not properly secured
Solution:
- Alert manager immediately
- Do NOT attempt to hide or cover up loss
- Manager will investigate and document
- This will be recorded in audit trail and close reconciliation
